About Erica
A professional show skater, Erica, has toured in famous ice shows, “Ice Follies” and “Razzle Dazzle.” Additionally, she has choreographed professional ice shows, “Symphony on Ice” and “Ice Castle.”
Erica, a former United States Figure Skating (USFS) and Ice Skating Institute (ISI) gold skater, coach, and judge, has been coaching for over 40 years. Erica loves teaching students from tots through adults. There is no greater rewarding experience than seeing her students progress and develop skill level growth with every lesson. She prides herself in giving her students their focused one on one training in a comfortable and encouraging environment.
On the Ice
Erica, a four time ISI World Team Champion Coach, has produced many gold medalists coaching them in USFS Regional, Sectional, and National competitions. She has taught skaters through their Senior Gold Tests in Moves in the Field, Figures, Freestyle, and Ice Dance. Additionally, she is a Master Rated Professional Skating Association Instructor in Figures and Freestyle and a Gold Level ISI Coach and Judge.
Off the Ice
Erica is a credentialed Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism from Cal Poly Pomona and works with special needs skaters. Additionally, she has an extensive background in dance, nutrition, and sport psychology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has worked with professional sport trainers and psychologists. She teaches off-ice group classes in ballet, stretch, jump, and conditioning. Erica makes skating her life and she hopes you will too.
